CVS Shooting Suspect Ordered Held on Bail

STOUGHTON, MA — The man who allegedly shot a person inside a Stoughton CVS has been ordered held on bail.
Marcus Pierre-Louis, 23, was ordered held on $25,000 bail by a Boston District Court judge, according to the Stoughton Police Department. He will be arraigned in Stoughton later this week. He faces multiple charges including attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and child endangerment.
Bail for a prior charge was also revoked, police said.

Thursday afternoon, police responded to a shooting at the store located at the intersection of Central and Washington Streets. Witnesses say they heard an argument followed by gunshots. Three people allegedly ran out of the store and fled while the victim, a teenager, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The next day, police arrested two juveniles and identified Pierre-Louis as the third suspect. Pierre-Louis was arrested in Dorchester Monday night. He was taken into custody without incident and was in possession of a loaded firearm, police said. Police say the weapon will be tested on a later date in a ballistics lab to determine if it was the weapon used in the shooting at CVS, police said.
