Fallen Tree Takes out Power Lines, Impacts Traffic

Police are asking residents to be aware of a tree that has fallen across Sumner Street and has taken out some electrical lines.

While no one was injured by the tree, traffic will be significantly impacted, according to police.

Drivers are asked that avoid the area if possible. Anyone who needs to get to Copley At Stoughton will need to enter Sumner Street from Park Street. Access to Trinity Church is only available through the Brockton side.

National Grid has been notified and is the way, according to police.
