A Pepsi truck dumped soda all over the road Monday morning in Stoughton.

The Stoughton Police Department is saying thanks to a number of passersby who stopped to help when a semitruck carrying Pepsi crashed and emptied its load at a Stoughton intersection Monday morning.

According to a post on the Stoughton Police Facebook page, the crash occurred just before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Central and Pleasant streets. Hundreds of bottles of soda spilled in the roadway.

“We did not get a chance to get names but to the people who stopped and helped clean this fiasco, thank you very much. It was cold and pouring rain and it was very much appreciated,” the message on the Facebook page read.
