"Grinch" Wanted For Car Break-Ins at Stoughton LA Fitness

STOUGHTON, MA — A real life Grinch has come to Stoughton, damaging cars during his appearance, police said.

Stoughton Police are now investigating several vehicle break-ins at LA Fitness on Hawes Way. Police say the suspect broke the windows of vehicles in establishment's parking lot.

In a Facebook post, Stoughton Police strongly condemned the crime and the missing suspect.

"This was the act of some pathetic loser who decided your stuff should be their stuff," police wrote. "If anyone saw this Grinch we ask you to call the Stoughton Police Department so we can give him or her a beautiful set of silver Smith and Wesson bracelets for Christmas... double locked for comfort of course. If you’re reading this and you were the person who broke into these cars, there is still time for your heart to grow 3 sizes. Turn yourself and the stolen items in and we’ll put in a good word to the big guy in the North Pole."
