Gunshots Fired On Route 24: State Police
State Police are asking anyone in the Stoughton, Brockton or Randolph area for help finding a suspect who fired a gun on Route 24.
RANDOLPH, MA — State Police are asking for the public's help finding a person who fired a gun out the window of a dark-colored pickup truck on Route 24. Around 3 p.m. Saturday, police received reports of shots being fired out of a truck on Route 24 northbound in Randolph. The caller said the shooter was firing at other vehicles.
State troopers searched the area to locate the suspect and alerted local area police departments to be on the look out. The pickup truck was not found.
A short time later, another caller told 911 dispatchers something had struck and broken the rear window of his van. The man did not reprot any injuries. State Police responded and determined the window was hit by gunfire.
