Halloran Park Renovation Plan Passes at Stoughton Town Meeting

The estimated cost for the project is $585,000.

Voters at Town Meeting in Stoughton on Wednesday approved a warrant article that looks to renovate portions of Halloran Park, according to Stoughton school officials

Article 33 on the warrant sought to see if the town would vote to raise and appropriate, transfer or borrow from the CPA Open Space and Recreation funds for the construction and installation of new playground equipment, resilient surfacing, walkways and other site amenities at the Pierce Street playground, adjacent to Halloran Park. The estimated cost for the project is $585,000.

The article passed unanimously, according to Organizing Against Substances in Stoughton, which created a special video for the Halloran Park project to be previewed at Town Meeting.
