Hearing for Water, Sewer, and Trash Rates to be Held Tuesday Night
The hearing comes less than two weeks after the selectmen voted to ban outdoor water use.

The selectmen could set a new rate for water, sewer and trash Tuesday night.
On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the board will hold a public hearing in the Great Hall at Town Hall. During the hearing, DPW Superintendent John Batchelder will reveal his proposed rates with a vote from the selectmen to possibly follow.
The hearing comes less than two week after an emergency meeting where the selectmen, acting as water commissioners, voted to immediately ban all outdoor water uses except for handheld watering cans for fruits; vegetables; and flowers.
