Housing Authority Delay Decision on Executive Director Accused of Stealing Prescription Drugs
Discussions on Executive Director Gregory Bartlett will take place next week.

A planned discussion by the Stoughton Housing Authority on Executive Director Gregory Bartlett has been delayed to next week.
With Bartlett absent and unable to make the meeting, the board voted to move the discussion to Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is tentatively scheduled to take place at Town Hall.
On Jan. 5, Bartlett pleaded not guilty in Stoughton District Court to charges related to allegations of stealing prescription drugs from an elderly resident.

During the arraignment, Assistant District Attorney Peter Kelly told Judge Stevens that the victim had filled a prescription for 120 opiate pain pills on Dec. 28, 2014. Although the prescription allowed for a dosage of as many as 3 pills a day, the victim normally took only one before bedtime. After taking two nightly doses, a relative of the victim counted the remaining pills and reported finding only 61, rather than the anticipated 118.
Discussions on the matter will take place in executive session.
