How To Fill Out The Stoughton Recall Ballot

STOUGHTON, MA — In about a week, Stoughton residents will have a chance to head to the polls for a special recall election. Unlike other elections, this ballot is a two-step process.

Three individual races will make up the ballot. In each race, the voter will be asked if they are for or against the recall of the selectman in question. Then, no matter the choice in the first question, voters will then choose a candidate in the race. This process will take place for all three selectmen facing a recall.

Here's what the ballot looks like:

Selectmen David Sousa, Peter Brown, and Robert Cohn face challenges from Christine Howe, Richard Hill, and Stephen Cavey. If any selectman loses their seat, the winner will serve the remainder of the term.

The Stoughton Recall Election is Dec. 5.
