I am...an entrepreneur!

Owning your own business

Do you know what an entrepreneur really is? Have you ever looked up the definition? I did and here is what it said:

entrepreneur: [anh-truh-pruh-noo r]; a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk

As an entrepreneur, I am orchestrating my future. I am creating a future for my family to do the things we’ve always desired, to be able to make choices NOT decisions and most importantly, to have the peace of mind to live freely. Freedom is a big reason why people become entrepreneurs but as the definition indicates, it’s not done without any risk.

When I joined Team Beachbody as an Independent Team Beachbody Coach, I became an entrepreneur without realizing it. Initially I joined Team Beachbody because I wanted something better for myself - with my health and fitness. As I started to improve myself, both physically and mentally, I realized I wanted to pay it forward and help others better themselves too. THIS is where and when I found my passion, not only for health and fitness, but also for helping others.

I didn’t realize it, but there was a risk involved in what I was doing. Trying to start your own business is risky but without risk, there is no reward. My risk was in sacrificing money and time to really focus on connecting with other people and sharing what I’ve learned. Yes, I have had to say no to a few nights of eating dinner out and yes, I have had to say no to events because I have meetings with my team but I can assure you, I have not suffered because of it. I have grown tremendously and learned a lot about myself.

I have learned to become a more patient person...ssshhh, don’t tell anyone but I like instant gratification. I have learned that I am an emotional person and take things personally but at the same time, have become stronger because of it. I have learned that I can truly conquer anything that is set in front of me...just give me time.

In the long run, that risk that I took has paid off . Over time, I’ve learned different ways to better myself, and my business, and help others better themselves too. Slowly, but surely, I am creating my own empire and my family will be rewarded for it. Now, let’s talk about your empire. Are you ready to create yours???
