Limited Commuter Rail Service Expected Through March
Stoughton commuters should continue to expect limited service this week.
As the MBTA continues to recover from a month of unprecedented weather, Stoughton commuters did not get the news they wanted to hear on Tuesday.
A commuter rail spokesman told WCVB that the service will not return to regular standard weekday service until March.
The lack of service continues to frustrate riders in Stoughton. In addition to limited trains last week, all three early-morning trains were cancelled on Monday.

Last week, only 23 percent of trains on the Stoughton line ran on time during the evening commute according to the Boston Globe.
One rider told WCVB that the situation is so bad that he is now waking up at 4 a.m. and driving to another station in the hopes of catching a train to Boston.

Through Feb. 27, the following trains will not run: 901, 902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 909, 910, 915, 916, 919, 920, 923, 924, 931, and 932.
