Annual Student Art Exhibition at Stoughton Public Library
More than 40 students of Judith Murray Smith are displaying their drawings and paintings at the Stoughton Public Library Staircase Gallery for the month of April, including many students from Stoughton and Easton.
The variety of artwork at Wednesday night's Annual Student Art Exhibition at was almost as impressive as the range in age of the artists and award recipients.
Students ranging in age from 5 to 18 came to see their artwork on display. There were self portaits, paintings of the Statue of Liberty, paintings of Lady Gaga on the telephone and landscapes. There were also ducks, ballerinas and trains.

The students participate in Kreative Kids (ages 5-10) and Talented Teens (ages 10-18) at the Childrens Museum in Easton; and the Sunday Session at the Felos Art Center in Stoughton.
Smith and her family sponsor an annual competition to honor the memory of her mother; school librarian Margaret Murray. This year, awards were presented to the following students:
