Local Group Helping Improve Stoughton Center

If the center of town looks better, you can thank a new group for that.

Recently, the Stoughton Beautification Committee hung baskets with mums on light poles according to the Boston Globe.

Created by Stoughton’s economic development coordinator, Pamela McCarthy, the group is a part of Friends of Stoughton Center, a group committed to improving the appearance of the downtown area.

The group also plans on planting hundreds of flower bulbs with the Girl Scouts in the near future.
