Man With Meat Cleaver Robs Stoughton Convenience Store: Police
Police said the the suspect chased the cashier behind the counter, made off with cash, and escaped by bicycle.
STOUGHTON, MA — Police are looking for a man they said robbed a convenience store while armed with a meat cleaver. Just before 1 a.m., officers were called to Seasons, a convenience store and gas station on Sharon Street, about a man storming the storm the store with a large knife.
Police said the the suspect chased the cashier behind the counter and forced the employee to empty the register. After making off with the cash, police said the suspect fled on his bicycle. Police brought a K-9 unit to the scene, but were unable to find the suspect.
Police described the suspect as a white man with a thin build and roughly 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He was dressed in all black and was wearing a black mask and gloves.
