Man Shot In Head In Stoughton, Suspect Still At Large
The 29-year-old man was taken to a Boston hospital, where he remains with life-threatening injuries.
STOUGHTON, MA — A 29-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot in the head on Sunday night. As of Monday night, no suspects have been identified. Around 10:07 p.m., Sunday, police responded to 420 Pleasant St. after receiving a 911 call reporting the shooting.
Police said officers found the man on a stairwell to a residence and immediately began administering first aid while waiting for the paramedics. The man was taken to a Boston hospital, where he remains with life-threatening injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released. No arrests have been made. Police do not believe the shooting was a random act.
