Mass. School Building Authority Invites Stoughton to Launch SHS Feasibility Study

MSBA officials announced the move on Wednesday.

The Massachusetts School Building Authority board announced on Wednesday that it has invited Stoughton to take part in a feasibility study in an effort to weigh solutions to “deficiencies identified at Stoughton High School,” according to an announcement by the MSBA.

“We are committed to working with Stoughton officials to find the best alternative for the Stoughton High School,” State Treasurer Steven Grossman, MSBA Chair, said in a statement. “This collaboration will develop a cost-effective solution that ensures Stoughton residents can develop and flourish in a state-of-the-art, 21st Century learning environment.”

Stoughton school officials previously identified the aforementioned deficiencies in such building systems as HVAC and electrical.
