Middle School Students Report Threat Against Teacher

STOUGHTON, MA — Threats against a teacher were investigated Friday morning, Stoughton Public Schools confirmed.

A notice to the community said that two middle school students reported a threat that was made against a teacher on social media. The threat was not aimed at a Stoughton teacher and Stoughton Police say the matter was handled swiftly.

"At no point did we feel a danger was posed to our student body or staff. We are proud of the students that reported this information and this demonstrates why it is so important for all the members of our school community to follow the motto, 'If you see something, say something,'" the release said.
