UPDATE: Motorcyclist in Stoughton Crash Faces Charges, in Serious Condition

Stoughton, MA - A motorcyclist was injured in a crash that took place in Stoughton.

Sunday morning, Stoughton fire responded to a crash that occurred in front of a car wash on Washington Street, according to WCVB.

The rider was flown to a hospital around midday. He is in serious condition, the Enterprise reported.

Prior to the crash, police say that the motorcyclist attempted to evade police after an officer noticed him passing cars and riding on the sidewalk.

The motorcyclist, identified as 26-year-old Canton resident Christopher Berardi, will be summons to court and charged a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop for police.
