Nanny Accused of Stealing $280,000 from Boston Family was Wanted in Stoughton
Stephanie Fox, 30, of Randolph, has a lengthy criminal record that spanned through multiple towns.

A woman who stole over $280,000 from a family she worked for as a nanny had a long history of crime, including in Stoughton.
Stephanie Fox, 30, of Randolph, was arrested last week on three counts of bank fraud according to the U.S. Attorney’s office. She is accused of writing checks on her employer’s bank account and forging their signatures on the checks.
The charges are not the first time Fox has gotten in trouble with the law. In 2012, Fox pleaded guilty in Stoughton District Court to four counts of larceny by check involving more than $1,500 in purchases at Costco. She also had warrants for her arrest in Boston, Brockton, Stoughton, and Woburn according to the Boston Globe.

Fox’s attorney Joseph M. Perullo, said his client has a mental health issue, a compulsion that causes her to steal.
