New Stoughton High School Groundbreaking Set For Next Month
The school is scheduled to be ready in time for the 2019-20 school year.

STOUGHTON, MA — Get the shovels ready because work on the new Stoughton High School begins next month.
The school district plans on having a groundbreaking ceremony on June 15 at 10 a.m. The trucks start rolling in on June 9, the day after graduation.
Work on the two-phase project is expected to last through 2020, with the new school opening in time for the 2019-20 school year. The demolition of the current school scheduled to take about a year and would start in 2019. A new track/soccer field and football field are also included in the project.

Voters chose to fund the new school at the 2016 Stoughton Town Election.
