STOUGHTON, MA — Much of Stoughton is still without power following Friday's storm. As of midnight Sunday, 6,185 homes in town are without power, leaving about 48.7 percent of the town in the dark, according to the National Grid outage map. The estimated restoration time is March 6, 11:45 p.m., but that is the same time given to all area outages. The Stoughton Police Department says many intersections have no working light and the following streets are closed: <ul><li> Sumner Street near the Copley at Stoughton </li><li>Central Street between Washington Street and Pleasant Street</li><li>Pine Street from Pleasant Street to Deady Avenue</li><li>Glen Echo Street.</li><li> Central Street between Turnpike Street and Lincoln Street </li></ul>Anyone driving down theses streets will receive a ticket. Anyone in need of a warm place is advised to go to the Stoughton Senior Center on Rockland Street, or First Parish Universalist Church on Washington Street in the downtown area. The senior center will close at 5 p.m. and the church will remain open until 8 p.m. Anyone who needs a place to stay overnight should go to the regional shelter at Weymouth High School. <hr />Image via Shutterstock
