The Register will speak about the historical nature of the Registry and the Register’s efforts to modernize and computerize the vast number of Norfolk County real estate records. The Register will also speak about the various consumer initiatives at the Registry. Following his remarks, the Register will be available to answer individual questions.
Members of the Register’s staff will also be available to assist in providing information about the Massachusetts Homestead Act. On-site work stations will be available to provide the status of a mortgage discharge, print a copy of your deed or provide a demonstration on how the Registry’s On-Line Land Records Database works.
