Police say the man was set up on an online dating site.

STOUGHTON, MA — A Norwood man says he was the victim of a knifepoint robbery in Stoughton.

At 6:31 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the North Stoughton Village condominium on Page Terrace for a reported robbery. The victim told police that the incident took place at knifepoint and described the suspects as two while males, with one wearing a black hoodie and the second in a gray hoodie, according to the Stoughton Police Log.

Police tell the Enterprise that the victim, a 25-year-old Norwood man, made arraignments with a woman on an online dating website and was told to meet her by the pool. The man, however, was greeted by two men who told him to empty his pockets.
