NOTHING is impossible!

Do you see this word above? What does this word say to you? What does this word mean to you?

Impossible is the word I’m referring to. According to the Oxford Dictionary, this word means not able to occur, exist or be done1.

What do I see in this word? A challenge. I see a word that pushes me to give it a try and make sure that I succeed in whatever it is that I’m doing.

I did not always have this outlook, though. When I grew up, the glass was always half empty for me. I was not the type of kid to believe in myself and I would always say to myself that things were impossible or just out of my reach. So what changed for me?

I went through a really hard time during my teenage years and did not realize just who I was until I was in my late 20s. At that time, I finally realized what life could offer me. I had met someone that supported me every step of the way and that meant the world to me. I just needed someone to be there for me and help me find my way.

Now, that word does not scare me as much as it used to. Now, I see something different in that word. I see it for what it really is and really could be. I see that word say to me, “Anything you choose to do is possible”.

From this day forward, believe in yourself because that is how you will grow. Do not be afraid of this 10-letter word because in the end, this word is small and will not define who you are or who you will become. Tell yourself each morning that whatever you choose to do, you will make happen because NOTHING is impossible.
