UPDATE: Power in Stoughton Almost Completely Restorted

STOUGHTON, MA - For most home in Stoughton, the lights are back on.

As of midday Sunday, all but 120 homes in town are with electricity. The remaining homes have an estimated restoration time of 6 p.mm, according to the National Grid outage map.

The number is much lower than the high of over 2,800

Like many other communities in the area, many homes in Stoughton lost power due to falling wires and tree branches. For their safety, residents are advised to stay away from falling objects.
