Person Killed in Route 24 Crash
State police are investigating the crash, which took place just south of Route 93.

RANDOLPH, MA - Police are investigating a fatal car crash that took place early Tuesday morning.
At about 1:39 a.m., state police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 24 South, just south of Route 93, in Randolph.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a Chevrolet van veered off the road to the left and into the grass median. The van then corrected and came back to the right, crossing the roadway before striking and rolling over the guardrail on the right shoulder, according to police.

One occupant was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton.
Police are unsure which person was driving.

The scene was cleared prior to the morning commute.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and State Police Detective Unit for Norfolk County.
