
STOUGHTON, MA — A person at a CVS in Stoughton was shot Thursday afternoon.
The Stoughton Fire Department has confirmed that a person was shot at the CVS near Central and Washington Streets. The victim was taken to the hospital.

Witnesses tell FOX25 that two men were arguing inside the store before they heard gunshots. After the shooting, three men bolted out of the store and drove away. No other injures were reported.

The victim is described as a teenage man.
Stoughton Police Chief Donna McNamara said in a statement that the victim was shot once and the shooting was not random. Police are actively working to identify the men who fled the scene.

Due to the shooting, all after school activities at the high school and middle school were canceled.
