Man Hit By Car In Stoughton

STOUGHTON, MA — A man was struck by a truck on Hawes Way near LA Fitness on Wedneday afternoon, but is expected to be okay, police said.

Police responded to an initial call that a man was hit by a truck and down on the ground unconscious. But when officers found the man, he was conscious and fully-alert police said.

The man was grazed by the truck's mirror, Police Lt. John Bonney said. He was brought to the hospital as a precaution, but was not seriously injured.
