STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man who was reported missing Monday afternoon was found safe in Brockton. Around 1:30 p.m., Stoughton police received a call that Kevin Powers, 70, walked away from his family's Britton Avenue home. Police used ATVs and K9 units to try to find Powers, who suffers from dementia and glaucoma.
"Bolos to area departments were sent out and we posted the information on our social media pages," Lt. John Bonney said in a statement. "We also sent out messages via the RAVE (emergency alert) messaging system to all Stoughton residents who had signed up and the Stoughton Public Schools sent out emails to residents on their email list."
