Police Investigating Plain Street Home Invasion

STOUGHTON, MA — Police are investigating a home invasion that took place Tuesday evening in Stoughton.

At about 9:58 p.m., police received a call from a person on Plain Street who said their home was broken into by three masked men who claimed they had guns. One person was in the home at the time and was blindfolded and tied up by the assailants. The victim was uninjured during the home invasion, according to a statement published on the Stoughton News Facebook page.

State and Stoughton police K9 units searched the area and determined that the suspects fled in a vehicle.

Police believe that the incident was not random and the home was targeted.

The incident is under police investigation.
