Police Log: Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Drug Possession, and More

August 18

11:19 a.m. - The Massachusetts State Police reported a fight on Cushing Street at a workplace near the O’Donnell Middle School. After police arrived, Flavio Oliveira, 32, of Brockton, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.

August 19

2:47 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Park Street by Sumner Street, a 17-year-old juvenile received a summons for operating between midnight and 5 a.m. Without a parent, operating with a passenger under 18, failure to stop/yield, and speeding.

August 20

6:08 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Park Street, Tatiana Mercado, 32, of Brockton, was arrested and charged with possession of a class E drug and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).
