Police Log: Assault, Shoplifting, and More

September 7
4:27 a.m. - Police received multiple calls for two males fighting near Fieldbrook House on Washington Street. When police responded, Otha McGee, 44, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.
12:41 p.m. - After a female was detained in Kohl’s for shoplifting, police arrested Shawna Barbosa, 24, of Randolph on two warrants and charged her with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and furnishing a false name.

10:08 p.m. - A 41-year-old male from Ludlow in the parking lot of Bob’s Food Mart on Park Street was taken into protective custody.
