Police Log: Drugged Driving, Shoplifting, and More

October 9

11:15 a.m. - A 51-year-old male from Bridgewater received a summons at Stop and Shop on Washington Street for shoplifting by asportation.

4:25 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Simpson Street, a 40-year-old female from Providence received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.

9:05 p.m. - After a car struck a fire hydrant on Turnpike Street near Eight Street, Daniel Cohen, 47, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with drunken driving, drugged driving, operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger, marked lanes violation, and operating with a license suspended for drunken driving.

October 11

12:53 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street by Wyman Street, Paul Rodrigues, 43, of Brockton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and two counts of failure to stop/yield.

12:26 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Cedar Street, a 34-year-old female from Taunton received a summons for operating with revoked registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.
