Police Log: Drugged Driving, Shoplifting, and More

March 1

2:05 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Pleasant Street, a 43-year-old male from Somerville received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

5:53 p.m. - A 37-year-old female from Holbrook received a summons at Kohl’s on Technology Center Drive for shoplifting over $100 by asportation.

March 2

5:24 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Porter Street by Rose Street, a 23-year-old male from Quincy received a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a license.

March 3

6:06 p.m. - After a minor car accident on Central Street near Lurie Circle, Car Covino, 51, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, marked lanes violation, and not having a license in possession.

7:26 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Pleasant Street, a 26-year-old female from Raynham received a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and not having a license in possession.

March 5

9:31 a.m. - A 33-year-old male from Brockton received a summons for using a motor vehicle without authority.

March 6

7:47 p.m. - A caller at the Fieldbrook House on Washington Street told police that he was threatened by a person with a baseball bat who also broke into another person’s home. The suspect, Edward Conley, 63, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, witness intimidation, assault with a dangerous weapon, disturbing the peace while armed, threatening to commit a crime, assault and battery on a police officer, assault, and resisting arrest.
