Police Log: OUI, Shoplifting, and More

August 1

10:02 a.m. - A 33-year-old male from Stoughton received a summons at Kohl’s for shoplifting by asportation.

12:40 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Pine Street by York Street, Benjamin Ray, 30, of Jamacia Plain was arrested and charged with operating with a suspended license.

9:06 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Turnpike Street by Eighth Street, 58, of Brockton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

5:02 a.m. - A caller on Birch Street reported a truck that she said was parked in front of her house all night. The driver was asked to leave but he refused. The driver, a 35-year-old from Taunton, received a summons for attaching plates to a motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle
