Police Log: Resisting Arrest, Breaking and Entering, and More

February 19

7:07 a.m. - After a motor vehicle accident on Park Street, A 66-year-old woman from Brockton was issued a summons for operating with a revoked license.

11:13 a.m. - Police received a report of shoplifting at Kohl’s. After a male left the scene at a high rate of speed, went though a red line, and drove towards Route 24 South. Police were able to apprehend Karl Hensley, 36, of Brockton and charge him with larceny over $250, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, failure to stop for police while operating a motor vehicle, shoplifting by asportation, resisting arrest, and trespassing.

February 20

11:22 p.m. - A 23-year-old female from Randolph, was issued a summons during a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Wyman Street and Summer Street.

February 21

1:08 a.m. - After an officer investigated a group of men outside of Alex’s, Charles Zacharias, 27, of Quincy, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and trespassing.

6:57 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Park Street, a 26-year-old male from Johnston, R.I. was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

11:56 a.m. - A caller on Amherst Road stated that he did some contract work for a person and now the person keeps coming to his home and harassing him. The 48-year-old female from Marshfield opened the front door to his home and was issued a summons for breaking and entering into a building in the daytime for a felony.

10:43 p.m. - Thomas Gleason, 49, of Stoughton, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Park Street and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense and willfully obstructing an emergency vehicle.
