Candidates will have three weeks to submit their applications.

STOUGHTON, MA — After a slightly longer than expected process, the Stoughton Police Chief opening has been posted and applications are being accepted.

Monday, the selectmen voted to adopt the job description, qualifications, and process to find Stoughton's next top cop.

Under a process constructed by Selectmen Robert O'Reagan and Peter Brown, candidates will have three weeks to apply for the job. Applications will be sent to the selectmen office, where they will remain sealed and delivered to BadgeQuest, who will be conducting an assessment center.
