Prospective Cedar Hills Concessionaire Withdraws Application

The selectmen voted to withdraw Boston Butler's application.

Stoughton, MA — As it stands, a new vendor for Cedar Hills Golf Course is not on the way.

Tuesday, the selectmen voted to withdraw the application for Boston Butler, who was open the Stoughton Room at the town-run golf course. The vote came at the request of the applicant who wanted to withdraw then postpone.

Representatives from Boston Butler met with the selectmen earlier this months but as noted by the Enterprise, the selectmen were concerned about an incomplete application, including the absence of a drunken driving charge, had the selectmen concerned.

The last party held by the previous concessionaire was held in 2015.
