Randolph Shooting Under Police Investigation
At 7:28 p.m., police responded to a report of a shot person on Alfred Terrace

RANDOLPH, MA — One person was injured during a shooting in Randolph Monday night.
At 7:28 p.m., police responded to a report of a shot person on Alfred Terrace. The victim, a 19-year-old Randolph man, was found with a gunshot wound on his upper leg. He was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with serious but non life-threatening injuries, according to the Randolph Police Department.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was shot while riding in a vehicle. The victim and a second man bailed out of the vehicle on Mill Street and made their way to Alfred Terrace. The second person was not injured.

Officers located a firearm on Moulton Terrace and observed three men running from that location. Investigators also found a quantity of marijuana at the scene on Alfred Terrace, police said.
Police believe that the victim and suspects know each other and that this was not a random act of violence.
