Sources tell WCVB that detectives are comparing the bone to the dental record of Ilya Lastovkin, a 22-year-old Stoughton man who disappeared nearly six years ago.
On Thursday morning, a person walking through a dirt trail near Memorial Drive discovered the remains. Investigators were at the scene Thursday and Friday and found additional remains on Friday.
The discovery remains under investigation by the district attorney’s office and Stoughton police.
