School Building Committee Backs $123.6 Million Budget for New High School
The numbers still need the approval of the Mass. School Building Authority.

STOUGHTON, MA - The Stoughton High School Building Committee has approved the project budget for a new high school.
At a recent meeting, the committee voted to submit a project budget of about $123.6 million. The projected town share is expected to be about $71 million, with a maximum reimbursement from the state coming in at $52.64 million. The numbers still need to be finalized with the Mass. School Building Authority, according to the committee.

Last year, the committee voted to go forward a proposal that would see the town build a new school. According to the presentation, construction would be a two-phase project that would also see a new track/soccer field and football field.
