School Starts on Tuesday in Stoughton

School starts this week in Stoughton, with the first day of school scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 1.

There is no school on Friday, Sept. 4 or Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.

Below is all the information you need as schools starts including bus route information and important dates as the school year gets underway:

Bus Routes

The Stoughton Public Schools plans and schedules rides (bus, van, parent or walker) for every student enrolled in kindergarten through grade 10. Juniors and seniors are welcome to use bus service if it is needed.

All students are assigned a bus based on their home address, unless parents have made alternative arrangements known to the transportation department (i.e daycare, drop off or pick up at a relative’s house, etc.) This information is then posted in the student’s records, which teachers may use to assist in getting students to their bus at the end of the day.
