Selectmen Approve Beer and Wine License for Mike's Real Deal Diner

Tuesday night, the selectmen approved a beer and wine license for the restaurant.

STOUGHTON, MA — More beverage offerings are coming to Mike’s Real Deal Diner in Stoughton

Tuesday night, the selectmen approved a beer and wine license for the restaurant. The board’s vote was unanimous.

“I’d like to thank the people of Stoughton for their support. We’re really grateful to be here and things are in a good spot for us,” chef and co-owner Mike Hartery said.

Hartery said the request was made as part of an effort to offer more items for their customers. So far, the restaurant has received positive reviews with the board having nothing but good things to say.

“It’s not often you get calls ahead of time from people encouraging you to vote for a license. You’re making an impact. Keep up the good work you’re doing a great job,” Selectman Joe Mokrisky said.

There are no plans to add a bar or expand the hours of operation. Currently, the diner is open Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday 5:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Mike's Real Deal Diner is located at 1261 Park St.
