Selectmen Name New Chair, Vice-Chair

STOUGHTON, MA — There was some seat rearranging at the Board of Selectmen meeting Tuesday night.

During board reorganization, David "Spanky" Sousa was named the new chairman on a 4-1 vote, according to SMAC. Bob Cohn was named the new vice chairman on a 5-0 vote.

Selectman Bob O'Regan was the lone dissenting vote in the chairman vote.

New selectman Peter Brown, who was sworn in earlier in the meeting, nominated Sousa for chairman.
