Stabbing Reported at Stoughton Home Where Armed Invasion Took Place

STOUGHTON, MA — A late night stabbing could be connected to another that took place at the home, police said.

At 11:18 p.m. Thursday night, a caller on Richard Road told police that he saw someone in his backyard and was sliced with a knife when he went to check it out, according to the Stoughton Police Log.

This follows a home invasion early Thursday morning that saw two men enter the same unlocked home and threaten a person with a long rifle. The suspects fled before police arrived.

Later that day, the victim, who was still in the hospital, called police and told them that his room alarm was going off. Police responded and found no one home but learned that the bedroom door was caved in, the Enterprise reported.
