Stolen Rav4, Wallet, and Bike: Stoughton Police Log

The following are excerpts from the Stoughton Police log. Arrests do not indicate convictions:

July 19

6:29 p.m. - A caller at Sparrow Road reported someone riding a dirt bike threw their yard. The rider reportedly went into the woods. Police were unable to locate.

July 20

2:10 p.m. - Police received a call from a Fed Ex driver about someone running down the street yelling at her. The driver described the suspect as a tall black male wearing a blue shirt and a hat with a badge on it. The police report said the shirt may have been from a hospital. Police said there were multiple witnesses, but the party's location is unknown. They report said the party likely fled towards Avon.

7:18 p.m. - Peace was restored after a report of a male party jumping over a fence into a pool. The party reportedly proceeded to jumping on cars. The party was advised not to hop over the fence.

July 21
12:11 p.m. - Someone at Canton Street reported their phone stolen.

July 22

10:18 a.m. - A caller at Pleasant Street reported their car stolen. The vehicle is a black 2017 Toyota Rav4 with a Massachusetts license plat number 6LP581.

11:14 p.m. - Someone called the police about suspicious activity at the Stoughton Train Station. Police said the parties were actually playing Pokemon Go.

July 23

1:30 a.m. - A caller at Cushing Street told police kids were running in the street and yelling. The caller said they threw something on the porch of a house at Adams Street. The kids were located and returned home.

6:03 a.m. - A caller from the Andrew Detox House reported a male patient reportedly taking other patients belongings and being disruptive. A nurse said the patient left the unit. Police later arrested Matthew Earner, 31.

11:44 a.m. - A party at Washington Street reported a stolen bike.

1:24 p.m. - A wallet was reported stolen from a car at Willow Street.
