STOUGHTON, MA — Three men accused of planning a home invasion last week were deemed dangerous, but a Stoughton District Court judge released the suspects under certain conditions.

Olivio Leverone, 31, of Norton, Jeffrey Vincente, 30, of Mansfield, and Jarrid Brewer, 30, of Boston, were charged with attempting to commit a crime (breaking and entering), possession of burglarious tools and conspiracy. The suspects were held without bail last week after pleading not guilty.

Bail was set at $1,000 for Vincente, following the hearing. He was ordered to find employment and maintain it, avoid contact with the residents of the house and any witnesses, and not possess any firearms, David Traub, a spokesman for the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office told Patch. Leverone and Brewer were both released on personal recognizance. They were ordered to wear GPS monitors, stay out of Stoughton, not possess firearms, and remain indoors between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. However, after court, Brewer was taken to Hingham District Court on a separate break-in charge.

The three men were arrested on Feb. 27 after a burglary attempt was thwarted when a neighbor noticed something was off and decided to call the police, Stoughton Police Lt. John Bonney said.

A woman told police she saw two of the men near a house on Ash Street exit a suspicious car, put on latex gloves and enter the backyard of her neighbor, Bonney said. Police arrived shortly after and pulled over a blue sedan, which matched the neighbor's description. Leverone was the only one in the vehicle, according to police. Bonney said officers found gloves, a collapsible police baton, and handcuffs inside the car. Leverone was then taken into custody.

A witness told officers they saw two men running down Route 27 toward Brockton. One of the men was wearing a gray sweatshirt, which matched the initial description the neighbor gave police, Bonney said. Vincente and Brewer were found by police at a nearby medical building. A police dog from Quincy also found a pry bar in the woods near where the suspects were found, police said.
