Stoughton Deputy Chief Placed on Paid Leave

Stoughton Deputy Police Chief Robert Devine was placed on administrative leave this week after an internal investigation.

Chief Paul Shastany told the Enterprise that he cannot say why or how long he was placed on paid leave, only confirming that Devine was put on leave.

The investigation stemmed from an incident in January where pictures of Devine and an Easton woman he was having an affair with were distributed to his police co-workers.
