Stoughton Football Comes in Strong in ESPN Boston Preseason Poll

The expectations will continue to be high when the Stoughton Black Knights kick off the 2015 football season in September. With football season around the corner, preseason rankings are starting to come out and the defending Davenport Division champions find themselves as one of the top teams in the state.

In ESPN Boston’s preseason rankings, Stoughton starts the season ranked number 21

In their notes, the website praises the Black Knights as the favorites in the Hockomock’s Davenport division with a deep stable of athletes, led by running back/safety Ryan Sullivan.

Stoughton will start the season at home against North Attleboro on Sept. 11.
