
The Stoughton High football team ended up 14th in the final football rankings in the Boston Herald, just ahead of Oliver Ames, who the Black Knights beat the Division 3 West title.
The Black Knights finished the season with a 10-2, the most wins in the school's history.Stoughton and Oliver Ames weren't the only Hockomock League teams to earn spots in the rankings.
Mansfield (13-0) were No. 1 for the second time. The Hornets were the top team in 1996. Attleboro, who finished with a 9-2 record was seventh, while King Philip ended up 10th with an 8-3 mark.
